It stands for Chartered Institute of Management Accountants based in London, UK. This institute’s work and certification are the same as CMA, which is based in the USA. This institute has a strategic alliance with a much accountant body of many countries like Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and also with our own country Institute of Cost Accountants of India. It gives full membership of two types: – Associate and Fellow. CIMA‘s designation recognizes that the person holding this title is very much competent in the field of accountancy.
